L’Academy Preschools is where we uncover children’s cognitive potential through language immersion. Our ultimate goal is to develop each child mindfully with love and compassion through a language-rich curriculum! Come and see our classrooms, meet the site staff and get all of your questions answered. Children are welcome!

Center offers Mandarin immersion. Spanish immersion is also a possible future offering if there is strong demand.

If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the holiday will be observed the Friday before or the Monday after. Please refer to the school calendar for specific closure dates. Note that tuition will be due in full every month irrespective of school closures or holidays.*

Meet our Staff

Director: Christina Enerio

Ms. Christina has nearly twenty years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She majored in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Elementary Education at the University of Texas at Arlington. She discovered the joys of teaching children in college while completing an internship for her teaching certification. Christina is passionate about developing curriculum that encourages exploration, creativity, and discovery that supports love of learning that children carry with them throughout their lives.

When she’s not working, Christina enjoys hiking, reading,and spending time with her husband and three children.

Teacher: Angela Liu

Ms. Angela has over five years of experience working in Language Immersion and Montessori preschools, mostly with children between the ages of 2 and 5. She is passionate about providing stimulating playful experiences for children that make them want to learn. She also works hard to empower children through supporting their independence and self-help skills. Ms. Angela graduated from Shanghai Theatre Academy where her majors were in acting and performance directing and art; she was previously a television anchor.

Angela enjoys singing, dancing, performing, as well as spending time with her own infant son, watching him discover the world around him.

Teacher: Ariana Hall

Ms. Ariana has been working in early childhood classrooms since 2016 with additional years of childcare experience working as a nanny and babysitter as well as providing foster care to those in need. She obtained her ECE units at City College of San Francisco. Ms. Ariana cares deeply about teaching with compassion and awareness. She also appreciates working as a team to develop diverse curricular experiences to support the individual needs of each child.

When she is not in the classroom, Ms. Ariana enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, traveling, and attending food festivals.

Teacher: Melinda Elegue

Melinda Elegue has been a preschool teacher for over 5 years and is currently pursuing a degree in Family Consumer Sciences. Melinda is passionate about introducing topics to inspire children, then observing and integrating their interests in new learning experiences. She has a significant experience incorporating a wide variety of curricular elements through art focused activities that resonate strongly with her students.

Melinda is a vegetarian who loves to try new plant-based foods and spend time with her pets.

Site Director: Padma Alamuru

Ms. Padma earned her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science but made a career change because of her passion for supporting children. Ms. Padma is passionate about developing interesting and engaging curriculum experiences for children and observing as they discover and learn in their own unique ways. She is committed to providing your family with a loving and developmentally sound foundation for a lifetime of learning.

In her spare time, Ms. Padma enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and two children.

Teacher: Yvonne Ma

Ms. Yvonne is currently working toward her degree in Early Childhood Education at City College of San Francisco. She is passionate about working with children and encouraging their growth by providing positive experiences in early childhood.  Yvonne enjoys the energy and excitement she gets from interactions with children.

In her spare time, Ms. Yvonne enjoys shopping and exploring.

Teacher: Amy Lee

Ms. Amy has over ten years of experience in various preschools and the San Francisco Unified School district. She holds over 15 units in ECE and a Child Development Associate Teacher permit. Amy cares deeply about continuing her growth and regularly continues her education in the field through classes and trainings. She is passionate about supporting children’s independence and problem solving, and encouraging children to explore and learn and discover their potential. Amy has a grown daughter who she enjoys being with in her spare time.
