L’Academy Language Immersion Preschool in Cary, NC offers affordable childcare for children ages 12 months through 6 years old.

Click the “Subscribe & Tour” button and our Center Director will reach out to you to schedule a tour. We currently offer in-person and virtual tours of our facility. A tour will be required for enrollment. Come and find out how L'Academy uncovers children’s cognitive potential through our language immersion based curriculum.

‍ Our ultimate goal is to develop each child mindfully with love and compassion through a language-rich curriculum! Come and see our classrooms, meet the site staff and get all of your questions answered. Children are welcome for in-person tours as well!

The Cary location currently offers English, Mandarin, and Spanish programs for ages 12 months through 6 years old.

If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the holiday will be observed the Friday before or the Monday after. Please refer to the school calendar for specific closure dates. Note that tuition will be due in full every month irrespective of school closures or holidays.*

Meet our Staff

Director: Jina Smith

Ms. Jina Smith was born in Rochester, NY where she earned both her Bachelors in Child Care Administration and her Masters degree in Public Administration. Jina has been a director since 2010 and has worked in the early childhood field since 2000.  She moved to Raleigh NC in 2019.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys and going for walks while enjoying the nature. She loves to read and learn new things. She is a lifelong learner who loves encouraging and supporting children to grow to their full potential.

Assistant Director & English Teacher : Ms. Coral

Ms. Coral has 4 years teaching experience in a Montessori School in the Children's House or Pre-k classroom.  She is currently obtaining her EDU 119 at Wake Tech CommunityCollege.

Outside of work, she enjoys pampering herself, and spending time with family and friends.

Mandarin Teacher : Suzy

Ms. Suzy Shujing Li is our Mandarin Pre-k teacher. She holds a bachelor of Arts in English Education and has over three years of experience teaching Chinese language art and culture in preschool and elementary school. She has a passion for teaching and promoting the emotional, cognitive, social, and physical development of each child.  Suzy loves gardening, cooking, and exercising.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Cook: Andrew

Mr. Andrew is from South Korea, and now lives in Cary, North Carolina. He has twenty plus years working in restaurant Management. Andrew has taken some courses in Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida. Andrew loves to go to the movies, and see live concerts. He has two cats and loves to cook and play basketball.


Teacher: Ms. Carolina

Ms. Carolina Brust is from Florida. She is our Spanish part-time floater teacher.  She has 4 years of work experience in childcare. She is a Master's Student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at NC State University, and has a B.A. degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Meredith College.

Ms. Carolina's family is from Peru. For fun, Ms. Carolina likes to hike, cook and play board games with friends & family on game night.

Teacher : Ms. Yanely

Ms. Yanely has 13 years of teaching experience. She has a major in English Language Teaching and a Master's degree in Theory and Practice of Contemporary English. She has earned her teaching certificate from the University of Cambridge.

Ms. Yanely was born in Cuba. Outside of work, she enjoys listening to music, watching TV, reading, walking and shopping.

Teacher: Ms. Jennifer

Ms. Jennifer is new to early childhood education, but she is eager to learn. She loves to help children and teach them new things in fun ways.
Ms. Jennifer was born here in the United States. Her family is originally from Mexico. Jennifer speaks both Spanish and English fluently. She loves to paint and go for walks. Her favorite flower are tulips.

Teacher : Ms. Yingbei

Ms. Yingbei is our Mandarin Two's Assistant Teacher. She is compassionate and energetic. Ms. Yingbei has 7 years of experience teaching Chinese to first-grade children. She recently completed her Early Childhood Education certification.

When she is not working, Ms. Yingbei loves dancing, and spending time with her family. Her Son Leon loves coming to our Spanish Pre-k program.

Teacher: Ms. Niaijah

Ms Niaijah Honeycutt is from Queens, New York. She has 5 years child care experience between the ages of 1 to 12 years old. She is currently working on her
EDU 119 in early childhood education. She is an artist in multiple ways. She loves to paint, draw and airbrush. Ms. Niaijah also loves music: singing, rapping and dancing. She comes from a musical & theatre family background.

When Ms Niaijia is not doing music or arts, she is working with kids through the "Magics Dream Foundation" and giving back to the community in any way she can.

Teacher : Ms. Jaqueline

MS. Jaqueline was born and raised here in North Carolina. Her family is from Michocan Mexico. She has 4 years of early childcare experience as an assistant teacher. She has a certificate in translation and interpretation. Her passion is helping children grow. She loves to see how they grow throughout the year. It fills her heart to
see each child achieving new milestones.

Ms. Jaqueline loves to watch movies. Her favorite foods are pizza and fries. She enjoys self care and beauty in her time off.
